Vocabulary Cards Format
1. Use 3x5 index cards. I prefer that you write in pen (blue or black ink) instead of pencil. No typing allowed.
2. On the front (blank) side, write the vocabulary term and draw a picture of that term or a picture that reminds you of that term. Your drawings don't have to be super artistic, but they should be recognizable and thorough to the best of your ability.
3. On the back (ruled) side, write the definition of the term. Then, leave a few blank lines, and write an original, grade-level sentence using the term. However, don't write the actual term in the sentence. Instead, leave a "blank space" (just draw a small underscore line) to represent where the term belongs. This way, you can actually use these vocabulary cards to study and learn these terms! :)
4. Please punch a hole through these cards and place them on a metal ring to be graded by Miss Butler. Thank you!
